Benefits of Photographer Loyalty
In this day and age, where photographers are a dime a dozen you are bombarded with so many choices. You have specials and discounts coming at you from every angle, on your phone, through your email, posted on your Facebook page, the list goes on and on. So the next time you’re considering getting a portrait taken you naturally go to where you can get the best deal. Many sites out there offer heavily discounted packages and it is very easy to find yourself bouncing from photographer to photographer to get the best bang for your buck.
Let me explain why building loyalty has its perks and why you should stay with your photographer.
Build a relationship. This is a big one if you have children. Building a relationship with your photographer is more important than you think. Remember, the images we capture will last a lifetime and capture a moment you will never get back. The way you and your family interact with the photographer is key in getting beautiful images, and let’s face it, you and your children will be much more relaxed with someone you’ve built a relationship with. Personally, I love my clients children! I love the process of getting to know my families and their children and watching them grow. It is so rewarding to have the privilege of being a part of these families lives.
Rewards. Most photographers (not all) reward their loyal clients. If you don’t stick around, you can’t reap the rewards that come to the “inner-circle” so to speak. Here at Sprouts Photography once you are in as a Sprouts family member, you don’t pay session fees. We also have lots of special parties and sessions just for our current clients.
The Hodge-Podge effect. Ever gone into a home and nothing went together? When you bounce from photographer to photographer your look will be disorganized and thrown together. Staying with one photographer allows you to achieve a harmonious look and feel to your photos over the years. Of course sessions will differ and your photographer will always be evolving, but generally speaking it will stay complimentary and flow as a body of work.
